Training Activities
The AGROVET Library provides training services aimed at helping users independently navigate bibliographic resources and offers introductory and advanced courses on the use of the main bibliographic tools and bibliography management.
The program consists of 7 short modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of research:
- Bibliographic Research Strategies – Methods for conducting effective research.
- Search Engines – Informed use of online search tools.
- Databases – Accessing and consulting academic resources.
- Evaluating Sources – Criteria for assessing the reliability of information.
- How to Find Articles – Strategies for locating scientific papers.
- Guidelines on Academic Writing – Tips for writing academic texts.
- Citations and Plagiarism – Rules for the proper use and citation of sources.
AGROVET courses are available on the University Moodle platform by clicking on “Strategies for Bibliographic Research” and then on “Continue.” Access is granted through SCU credentials, which should be entered in the “University Users” section on the right side of the page.
