Please be advised that on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a chiller unit will be moved onto the roof of the veterinary hospital. The operation will require the setup of a crane in the central library parking lot, which will be unavailable for use throughout the day.

Pedestrian access to the central library will remain open; however, the entrance walkway will be temporarily closed during certain phases of the crane's operation, making it impossible to enter or leave the library at those times.

“Critical thinking is a key skill in media and information literacy, and the mission of libraries is to educate and support its importance. Discussions about fake news have led to a new focus on media literacy more broadly and the role of libraries and other educational institutions in providing it.
