On Friday, October 23, the periodicals section (left side) of the Central Library will be closed from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to host a meeting as part of the "Mamme in cammino" ("Moms on the Move") initiative. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Anti-violence desk

An anti-violence desk is active in the Library managed by Telefono Rosa Piemonte Torino (ODV) - Centro Antiviolenza e di Orientamento per i Diritti delle Donne (Anti-violence and Guidance Center for Women's Rights.)

The service is offered free of charge to all women who experience moments of discomfort due to forms of oppression, abuse and violence that can occur both within the university context and outside the University.

The help desk is therefore aimed at all female students, researchers, teachers, employees in the technical and administrative sectors, temporary workers and workers in outsourced companies and, in general, all women.

To access the service simply:

  • access directly on Tuesdays from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
  • contact us by phone: (+39) 011 5628314 / 327 3275692 (also available via WhatsApp)
  • via e-mail: telefonorosa@mandragola.com

The University of Turin is the first Italian university to make four anti-violence offices available. The centers are managed in collaboration with the operators of the E.M.M.A. Anti-Violence Centers (ETS) and Telefono Rosa Piemonte Torino (Anti-Violence and Guidance Center for Women's Rights). For further information, locations and opening times, consult the official page: Sportello antiviolenza
