Please be advised that on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a chiller unit will be moved onto the roof of the veterinary hospital. The operation will require the setup of a crane in the central library parking lot, which will be unavailable for use throughout the day.

Pedestrian access to the central library will remain open; however, the entrance walkway will be temporarily closed during certain phases of the crane's operation, making it impossible to enter or leave the library at those times.

Book reservation and request

If you log to the University Catalog with your UNITO SCU credentials you can:

  • make a reservation for books that are already on loan. When the books are returned you will receive a notice on your institutional email account and you have 3 days to come and collect the book(s).
  • request a book that is not on loan but that you cannot come and collect before a certain amount of time.  By means of the "Richiesta di prestito" link it is possible to book an item from home and to come and collect it within 5 working days (including the day of request).
  • check your library situation and renew the loan of book(s) you have.
