Internet and Electronic Resources
The Agrovet Library provides internal and external users with access to the Internet and to the electronic resources subscribed to by the University of Turin.
HOW TO ACCESS THE SERVICE
You can access the service:
- from the Library's computer workstations;
- by connecting your own device to the Library's Wi-Fi network.
Internal users can log in using their SCU credentials.
External users (walk-in users) may obtain temporary login credentials from the Library reception desk upon presentation of a valid ID.
USING THE SERVICE
The Internet and electronic resources must be used in compliance with applicable laws and the terms and conditions of the publishers' licence agreements.
Electronic resources are intended exclusively for study, teaching and research purposes. Please ensure that you comply with the licence restrictions governing the downloading and use of articles and other documents.
USING THE LIBRARY COMPUTERS
The Library computers are intended for study and research activities. You may save bibliographic or teaching materials to a USB flash drive, in accordance with the licence conditions governing the electronic resources.
Please use the Library equipment with care. Users are responsible for any damage caused to hardware, software or system configurations.
Please note: The Library computers are automatically restored to their original configuration each time a user logs out. This means that any files saved on the computer are permanently deleted. Please remember to save your work to your own USB flash drive or to a personal storage space, such as your University of Turin Google Drive (GDrive) account.
IMPROPER USE
Failure to comply with the Library regulations or the licence conditions governing electronic resources may result in the termination of your session and the suspension or withdrawal of access to the Library's IT services.
