Consulting
All the bibliographic and documentary resources of the Agrovet Library are available for consultation by both internal and external users. Specific consultation procedures may apply to certain types of documents.
It is possible to check the location and availability of texts via the Unito Catalog or Eureka
Books and other materials on open shelves are freely accessible. You may take them directly from the shelves and consult them in the library reading rooms. After use, please do not return them to the shelves. Instead, leave them on the reading room tables or return them to the circulation desk if you obtained them through the library staff.
To consult materials kept in storage or otherwise not directly accessible, simply submit a request to the library staff. To consult items whose call number begins with DIPAR, you must send a request to biblioteca.agrovet@unito.it. Library staff will verify their availability and provide instructions on how they can be consulted.
The consultation of rare books, particularly valuable volumes, and special collections requires prior authorisation from the President or the Head of the Agrovet Library.
Access to electronic resources is governed by the relevant licence agreements, which define permitted and prohibited uses. Before using these resources, users are required to read and comply with the applicable terms of use.
For the most up-to-date information on requesting and accessing library materials please contact the reception desk.
