Please be advised that on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a chiller unit will be moved onto the roof of the veterinary hospital. The operation will require the setup of a crane in the central library parking lot, which will be unavailable for use throughout the day.

Pedestrian access to the central library will remain open; however, the entrance walkway will be temporarily closed during certain phases of the crane's operation, making it impossible to enter or leave the library at those times.

August closures

The Central Library and the Widespread Library will be closed from Saturday 1st to Saturday 22nd August inclusive.

From 24 to 28 August it will be open exclusively the Central Library, with time 9:00–19:00.

Saturday 29 August the Library will remain closed.

From Monday 31 August both locations will reopen with the usual opening hours.
